GREAT BASIN GOPHER SNAKE
I was heading up to Baxter Pass in Western Colorado when on the dirt road, this nice snake crossed in front of me. I knew it wasn't poisionous, but was not sure of the species. It suddenly decided that I was intruding in its sphere of control and attacked me visciously, biting my camera. Baxter Pass road, Colorado.
