SAND HILL CRANES
Same birds, different lighting and background. In a timed migration about this time each year, I stood on the tower at the end of La Chua Trail and watched these birds come in from the south, and watched as others got up, circled and when they were two or three thousand feet, they headed north, on Wednesdays prevailing souerly wind. La Chua Trail, Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.
