This fella was crossing Burnt Island Road. I had to get out of the truck and finish getting him off the road. While I watched him to take these photos, I observed him in some sort of muscular contortion, where his muscles were rippling down his back towards his tail. Perhaps something to do with digestion, as he had several lumps in his body, most likely mice or birds.
